According to a July 10, 2012 News Ltd. article, Cheap and cheerful houses in Brisbane, 2012 has seen a boom in home sales in the under $350,000 market, with houses under that price tag accounting for almost 36% of all home sales in Brisbane. Those homes for sale under $500,000 account for 39% of home sales.
Another News Ltd. release, Tide turning for river real estate, notes that there was a significant correction in the prices of prestigious Brisbane river front property after the 2011 floods, with prices falling dramatically.
