The 12th House shows your strengths and weaknesses of unknown or hidden. It shows, sorrow, suffering, limitations, handicaps, secrets and childbirth. Prisons are presented here as a positive prisons (and where is our largest prison?) (Hospitals, etc.), institutions of all places, where one is hidden (hospices, nursing homes, etc..) On a, this means, ashrams, retreats, where ever we can be alone and work on the mysteries of life ?

Speaking of prisons, so no one is thinking up in prison to pay for their crimes, they pay for getting caught! Not everyone is in the hospital there, because they are sick! Not everyone is in an institution because they are mentally unstable or dangerous! And it?s not everyone who enters an ashram, a place to retreat to the monastery looking for enlightenment!
